Adler After Dark
every third Thursday, 6:30-10:30 p.m., Adler Planetarium
Enjoy the award-winning view of the Chicago skyline seen only from the Adler. Amble around the Adler's exhibitions or take in a sky or space show.is the only time you can peek through the Doane Observatory telescope, the largest telescope in the Midwest accessible to the public.

Chicago Annual Pride

Concerts in Grant Park
Enjoy your picnic and drink wine while listening to the world’s first class classical music. The Chicago’s Grant Park Orchestra and Choir are having FREE concerts at the Frank Gehry’s auditorium in the city center.
Taste of Chicago

Movies in the Park
Chicago neighborhood parks, all summer
Watch a movie outdoors in one of the Chicago Parks. The festival will feature 176 screenings of current and classic movies in 128 citywide parks through Oct. 26. For more information visit:

Indiana Sand Dunes National Park
Just an hour away from campus by Metra! Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore hugs 15 miles of the southern shore of Lake Michigan and has much to offer. Whether you enjoy scouting for rare species of birds or flying kites on the sandy beach, the national lakeshore's 15,000 acres will continually enchant you.
