The Institute of Politics (IOP) is currently seeking applications to the International Policy Committee, the executive body of the International Policy Program.
The International Policy Committee is a new student-run, IOP staff-advised initiative committed to developing international policy-focused programming at the Institute of Politics. The 12-person committee, selected annually, will organize excursions to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, design and implement a recurring discussion series on hot-button foreign policy issues, sponsor a one-day "deep dive" symposium on a major geopolitical development, and organize networking opportunities for international careers.
The inaugural 2014-2015 Committee will be selected this summer. We seek both undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in some aspect of international policy (national security issues, human rights, international development, etc). The Committee will meet at least once a week for the duration of the academic year. We value diversity of experience and opinion. Previous involvement at the Institute of Politics is not required.
Applications are due on Sunday, July 13th at 11:59 PM. In addition to this form, please send a one-page resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
