International Student Voice

International Student Forum and
International Student Advisory Board

International students at the University of Chicago are strongly encouraged to make their voices heard in all relevant student bodies of the University, such as Student Government, including the Liaisons to the Board of Trustees, and the many Registered Student Organizations (search the ORCSA website). However, international students also have a wide range of concerns unique to their situation and experience and OIA has structures for international students to voice their viewpoints, interact with each other, and take an active role in the work OIA is doing to continue building improved support for the University's international community.

The International Student Forum (ISForum) is held once every quarter during the academic year.

The International Student Advisory Board (ISAB) meets monthly, except for December, throughout the academic year and advises OIA on international student needs and concerns, participates in the development of new initiatives, interacts with the wider University community to raise the visibility of international students and develops international student leadership. For information such as the list of current ISAB members, meeting dates and more, please visit the International Student Advisory Board Page.

Of course, we also always appreciate your comments and suggestions sent directly to our office. Please feel free to e-mail OIA's director, with any information you would like to share.
