About Alex:
Alex has been with OIA at the University of Chicago since January 2019. Prior to joining OIA, she worked for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln advising international students and scholars on their immigration status. She is an avid international educator, often involving herself with her professional association, NAFSA. She received her B.S. in History from Iowa State University in 2009, M.Ed in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies from Loyola University-Chicago in 2011, and M.A. in Higher Education Leadership from University of Nebraska in 2019.
Outside of OIA, you will find Alex either playing with her dog Gunther, traveling with her husband and daughter, or simply enjoying all that Chicago has to offer.
