About Angelica:
Angelica is an International Student Adviser (for Alumni working on OPT/STEM). She joined the Office of International Affairs in January of 2024. She was previously an international student advisor at Northwestern University for over 7 years and has worked with international students for a little more than a decade. She was born in a small town near Zihuantanejo, Mexico, and immigrated to the US when she was 5 years old. Angelica was raised in Rogers Park in Chicago. If you prefer, feel free to speak to her in Spanish. In her free time, she loves to travel, tend to her backyard garden, go on imaginary adventures with her three small kids, and bake yummy pies.
