About Dan:
Dan Ashton joined the University of Chicago and Office of International Affairs in September 2014 and currently leads the Employee and Scholar Services Team . Prior to joining OIA, Dan graduated from the John Marshall Law School (Juris Doctor, May 2008), worked in various Chicago-area law firms including HSP Legal, and served as the Associate Director for Employee Services in the Office of International Services at the University of Illinois at Chicago from January 2010 to September 2014.
Outside of OIA, Dan is an avid basketball player, loves music and reading about politics and current events, and is the proud owner of a Shiba Inu dog named Mochi.
