Born and raised in India, Shashi moved from Seattle, WA and joined the Office of International Affairs in 2014. Besides working, Shashi enjoys going on long walks by the lake, working in her garden, and practicing the guitar.
To stay connected with her Indian roots, she participates and socializes with a large Indian community, takes part in special events spread out throughout the year, and shops on “Devon Avenue”.
Shashi advises F-1 and J-1 students in the following areas:
- All Physical Sciences Division (PSD) programs EXCEPT for MS Analytics (advised by Angelica Cazares), and MS Financial Math & MS Computer Science (advised by Sarah FitzMaurice)
- Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (Master of Engineering & PhDs)
