All scholars in J-1 status are required to report any address change to the Office of International Affairs (OIA) within 10 days of moving.
To update your address, please notify your adviser via email and include your updated address. Once you notify OIA, your adviser will update your address in SEVIS.
In addition to notifying OIA, you should notify your unit Human Resource Professional (HRP) to update the university system, as well as notifying the U.S. postal service of your address change so you can continue to receive mail.
