Colleen joined the Office of International Affairs in 2023. Previously, she worked at Northwestern University in a variety of roles, from Multicultural Student Affairs to Student Transition Experiences to the office of International Student and Scholar Services. She enjoys working with graduate students and learning new languages and cultures. One of her favorite guiding lines is: “To know one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded."
Colleen and her partner have two small children and a rabbit at home and when she has a quiet moment, she enjoys reading. She loves to travel by plane, train or automobile and eat good food with her family. She has lived across the US, in western Europe, southern Mexico, and western Africa and plans to move to Thailand, where her partner grew up, when her kids are grown.
