Czech Series: Celebrating UChicago's Contribution to Czech Statehood and Honoring Czechoslovak Presidents

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic, in partnership with the University of Chicago's Slavic Department, will be hosting the inaugural evening of the new "Czech Series". This event will celebrate the University of Chicago´s unique contribution to Czech statehood and honoring Czechoslovak Presidents Tomas Garrigue Masaryk and Edvard Benes, as University´s Visiting Professors.

The Program will include an address by Lubomir Zaoralek, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic as well as a music performance by Ivan Kral, Grammy Award-winning, Czech-American singer and songwriter.
