Amima is the Associate Director for Student Services.
Amima joined the Office of International Affairs in 2014. After completing a B.A. in Psychology at the University of Chicago, she worked in the advertising and marketing field before pursuing her passion for supporting others in their educational and professional pursuits. In 2014, she returned to the University of Chicago to provide guidance and support to the University’s international community. Amima has also earned a M.A. in Industrial & Organizational (I/O) Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
In her spare time, Amima enjoys reading, visiting museums, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
Amima:
- Leads our student advising team
- Advises F-1 and J-1 students in the Divinity School (Gbewoli Acquah to advise Divinity during late Summer/Autumn)
